In 2015, the average office worker received on average 121 emails per day. Fast forward six years to 2021, and I’m sure that number is higher now. I personally receive somewhere between 70 to 100 per day, and out of all of those, there is one that sticks out in my mind.

It wasn’t from my favorite brand or from someone I know. It was from a company I had gotten brand ambassador position through. I kid you not, I spent 10 minutes staring this 3-line email trying to figure out if it was sent through an email software or personally addressed to me.

I came to the conclusion that it was sent through some sort of CRM software, but it was so simple and personalized to me that I felt compelled to respond, even after knowing that a person didn’t actually take the time to email me.

In my opinion, that is a great email marketing campaign. In an age of clutter and digital fatigue, it’s so important to stand out.
